Diplo reveals ‘Cold Water’ receiving an ‘Indian version’ for Diwali

Major Lazer has had a run of success since 2015 that would be the envy of almost any artist out there. The trio’s latest “Cold Water,” featuring the vocal talents of Justin Bieber and , has proven to be yet another smash with very long legs. Now the group’s mainstay, Diplo, has taken to Twitter to announce the track will receive an “indian version” for the Festival of Lights Diwali.


The Mad Decent head also revealed this new version of “Cold Water” would feature the talents of Indian singer and composer Anirudh Ravichander, who has long been rumored to have earned a production credit on the original. As for a release date, Diplo only says that it will come soon, though, with the festival set for October 30, it will likely be around then.
