Janet Jackson’s “Nasty” Gets 250% Spotify Boost After Trump Calls Clinton a “Nasty Woman"

Last night, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton faced off for the third and final presidential debate before this year’s election on November 8. At one point during their conversation, Trump called Clinton “such a nasty woman.” Following Trump’s comment, Spotify streams of Janet Jackson’s 1986 song “Nasty” increased 250%, according to the streaming service. Earlier this week, it was announced that Janet Jackson was among this year’s nominees for induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The 2017 inductees will be announced in December.
