Jauz and San Holo have been building anticipation around the release of an upcoming collaboration among their fanbase for quite some time. The pair took to social media in April, inviting fans to submit potential titles for the then-unreleased tune, with nominations ranging from “Jawbacca” to “Songy McSongface.” While the latter title would surely have been a shoe-in for the Billboard Hot 100, the pair eventually landed on “OK!” as the name for their inaugural joint effort.

After months of Jauz and San Holo stirring the pot, “OK!” has been released on Monstercat. The sultry vocals which accompany the eerie synths of the songs introductory segment are beguiling. As soon as the song’s producers have lulled the listener into a false sense of security, they disrupt the hauntingly peaceful ambience they’ve created with an interjection of seismic bass patterns and sinister synthesis. “OK!” can be streamed below and is available for purchase here.
