On Monday, October 17th, Malcolm London will leave his mark on the Chicago music scene forever. He’s accomplished so much in his young years in various fields, that it’s only right he makes a splash within the hip-hop world. His official debut, OPIA, is due out on Monday, and as we’ve told you, it’s a special project. It’s evident that Malcolm has a way with words, but there’s never been a more important time for him to be heard. It’s the perfect balance of content, giving the world some true edutainment.

Today, we get the final leak from OPIA, with the standout “Northstar.” The track features a hot-off-the-press verse from fellow tide-changer Vic Mensa, and crooning from The O’My’s frontman Maceo Haymes. Upon my first listen of OPIA, this was definitely one of my early favorites, so we’re happy to bring you the world premiere of “Northstar.” Listen once, listen again. Share it.

And be sure to check back Monday for the full course. It’s worth the wait — that I can promise.
