Oliver Heldens announces new soft drink venture, ‘Deep Sparkling Water’

At just twenty-one years old, Dutch DJ and producer Oliver Heldens has garnered an impressive list of career-defining accomplishments. As of late, a busy summer of touring was yet another testament to Heldens’ achievements as the DJ toured globally, playing Belgium’s Tomorrowland, New York’s Governor’s Ball, Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival, and more. As the festival season is coming to an end and winter touring has yet to hit full gear, the producer is utilizing some rare free time to take on a non-music venture. Heldens announced he will releasing a new beverage called Deep Sparkling Water, making him the first DJ to launch a personalized soft drink.
While Heldens may be the first DJ to launch a soft drink, many DJs have started to engage in businesses outside of the music realm. For example, Tiesto is in the process of creating limited edition beer cans with Budweiser, and Kygo will soon be releasing his own clothing line. Heldens’ new product will be released on October 15 at a live meet-and-greet session at the Albert Heijn Vleuterweide supermarket in the Netherlands. Deep Sparkling Water will contain elderflower, mint, and cucumber flavors, all of which Heldens picked out himself. The beverage will be available to purchase here at the end of October.
